The first of four low-budget erotic thrillers produced by cable channel OCN which will receive a limited release in theaters in July and August. Angel by first time director Im Kyung-taek (he was a producer on The Doll Master) focuses on a woman who returns from a night with her lover to find her estranged husband murdered. She then becomes the first suspect.

Plot: Anthony Wong is a rich sex-deprived man who meets a Monk, who offers him an erotic dream. He becomes addicted to the dream and falls in love with the beautiful female student in it. Unfortunately, the dream is part of the Monk's conspiracy to obtain or destroy all that matters to him.
Once Wong finally finishes his dream, things start going horribly badly. For example, his dog loses its head and his mother gets mutilated and stuffed into a box while he was asleep. The dream maker has gained control of Wong through his dreams and his desires and is out to take everything from him.
In an attempt to seek revenge, his brother returns from Malaysia and joins forces with the Monk's wife (Pinky Cheung), who has grown tired of the ritual abuse delivered by her sadistic husband.

Everyone seems to be chasing Mona Hsia-Hwang. The opening scene has her being pursued a cornered by a cop, who molests her with his pistol. She gives into his attentions, then shoots him, establishing her credentials as a femme fatale. We then meet Mona’s young cousin May, being picked up by Mona’s husband’s adopted son Li Wai Wai. Wai is the smouldering sullen type, whom May fancies almost immediately. Trouble is, Wai is secretly in love (read : in lust) with Mona. Mona tends to the bodily functions of her sick and elderly husband Hwang Fei Hung. Fei Hung has a heart condition, and is under medical orders to avoid excitement. But, with a wife as luscious as Rena M, how is this possible ?! And he’s a lecherous old bastard, always pitifully begging Mona for sex. It doesn’t take a genius to work out that Mona can’t wait for the old guy to pass away and get his money. She even has a go at convincing Fei Hung’s attorney Mr Chen to reveal the terms of the old guy’s will, by removing her stockings and proving that she wore no knickers. Yet another man is after Mona. Chiu is a tough cop (and a very nasty piece of work) who used to be Mona’s protector, and he wants her back, though it’s pretty clear he only wants the money she’d inherit.
